TEIA.CAFE · PITCH SUMMARY 2026 · pitch.teia.cafe Blockchain analytics for the art world. Do Your Own Research, made possible. teia.cafe Inc., Delaware C-Corp since 2023 · Pre-seed round PROBLEM The blockchain is public, but almost nobody can read it. Artists find their work copyminted and can't prove it; collectors buy into wash-traded or rugged projects with no way to see it coming, or to measure a portfolio. The confusion feeds fraud: 38% of NFT trades on major marketplaces show wash trading (Boston University, 2026) and 4 in 5 free mints were plagiarized, fake or spam (OpenSea, 2022). SOLUTION Immutable records turned into analytics people can use: checkable by anyone, explained in plain language, priced per report with no subscriptions. Edge: five years building the platforms the data comes from, encoded as published rubrics (22-question token audit, 16-question baker score) and scaled with AI-assisted research. PRODUCT One engine, five report types, on mainnet now, public launch Oct 1, 2026: portfolio dashboard (dashboard.teia.cafe) · wash-trading analysis (washing.teia.cafe) · token project audit (audit.teia.cafe) · copyright protection (copyright.teia.cafe) · baker inspector (baking.teia.cafe). 1 tez a report, free credits at sign-in. We lead with wash-trading and copyright. WHY NOW Capital is moving on-chain (73% of institutions raising crypto allocations), regulation now requires ledgers be read (GENIUS Act, MiCA; compliance analytics $2.9B -> $14.6B by 2032), and AI needs provenanced data (EU AI Act). Each creates the same need, an honest reading of the ledger, which we sell at $2 to the people compliance tools ignore. ORIGIN Built on TEIA, the community-owned DAO that took over hic et nunc in 2022; our founders helped build it. Platform numbers since 2021: 880K works minted, 3.6M sales, $62M traded (14M XTZ at time-of-sale prices), 5 years online, 2.6K token holders, 1-2K daily users, 11K monthly radio visitors, 60+ media interviews, 10 DAO-funded art events in 4 months on 3 continents. That audience is our distribution. These are TEIA's numbers, not ours: teia.cafe's own tools are on mainnet now, public launch Oct 1, month-one goal 100 paid reports. MARKET Every transaction, multiple reports: a buyer, a seller, and the artist whose work it is. Bottom-up at $2 a report, growing left to right: SOM $250K (our Q4 2027 run rate, ~3% of objkt's 190K users buying one report a month); our start, Tezos art, $26M (500K+ wallets x $24 a year, plus a yearly $2 copyright scan of 7.2M one-of-one works); SAM $140M (2.1M NFT wallets on every chain, ~34 trades a year each, a $2 report per trade = $68 a year); TAM $1B (~500M reports a year: both sides of 72M NFT and 41.5M art sales, plus 268M new NFTs). Later, institutions through the API ($14.6B on-chain analytics by 2032). WHY TEZOS The record outlives the company: when hic et nunc closed in November 2021, its works, sales and collectors stayed on Tezos and IPFS, and the community relaunched it as TEIA within 24 hours. Tezos X: 6-second blocks final in 12 s (Tallinn, Jan 2026), 20 protocol upgrades without a hard fork, and one canonical rollup built into the protocol (Etherlink for EVM, Tezlink for Tezos apps), with sub-500 ms confirmations at ~$0.001 a transaction. RIVALS Art services (Verisart, Pixsy) sell certificates or takedown claims from private registries; enterprise analytics (Nansen, Dune, Chainalysis) cost $65-750 a month and serve traders; free scanners give one score with no context. teia.cafe is art-specific, in plain language, on public records anyone can verify, at $0.35 -> $2 a report. MODEL Pay per report: 1 tez (~$0.35) at launch, $2 basic / $10 premium within a year; marketplaces and platforms pay ~$300 a month through the API. Plan: 1,000 -> 6,000 reports a month over 2027, ~$21K a month by Q4 2027, break-even by end of Q3 2027 on ~$13K a month of costs (two founders, who are the whole engineering team, plus infrastructure). COSTS Lean by design: no AI tokens per report (AI is used sparingly, a few times a year, to update trend data); costs move with demand (an image search is ~$0.0035, ~90% gross margin at $2, est.); minimal account upkeep (wallet sign-in, so no passwords or personal data to store, reset or secure); every paid report settles on-chain to a public treasury wallet, so usage and revenue are verifiable live. The indexing ladder, climbed as revenue covers each step: TEIA (shared server, ~$50/mo) -> objkt.com (small indexer, ~$200/mo) -> all of Tezos (full indexer, ~1 TB, ~$1K/mo) -> Ethereum (archive node, ~3 TB, ~$5K/mo) -> the web (data-centre scale, $10K+/mo). TEAM Ryan Tanaka, CEO/COO: founding member of TEIA DAO, raised $30K for its treasury, runs teia.cafe radio (11K monthly visitors) and 60+ media interviews; composer, former PhD researcher in art history; in crypto since 2013. Johannes Simon, CTO: systems architect and smart contracts, TEIA's CTO and European lead, wrote ~90% of teia.art updates since 2023. ASK $200K post-money SAFE (valuation negotiable), target close Q1 2027, 12 months of runway. Use: 75% founders and development, 10% infrastructure plus image-ID APIs (Google Lens and others) for the copyright scan, moving to our own image model over time, 15% events and outreach. Backed by the TEIA community and the Tezos Foundation, past funders of our projects.
